About Field Service Manager

What does a Field Service Manager do?

As Field Service Managers, we manage the field service personnel that performs on-site services such as installations, repairs, and maintenances while overseeing the scheduling and training of new field service representatives. We are also tasked with handling service contracts and managing support services, and develop methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery and help future Field Service Managers. We design new strategies in coordination with other departments to ensure that all the day-to-day services have been controlled and that all the clients' needs have been correctly tackled.

Core tasks:

  • design, and update policies and rules to reduce the costs and improve the overall efficiency of existing services
  • schedule hiring, and training sessions
  • implement progressive disciplinary actions after closely collaborating with the Service Managers and HR
