As Housekeeping Managers, we are responsible for maintaining furnishings, cleaning rooms, and other equipment in residential homes, hospitals, and student accommodation. We interview and train housekeeping staff. We coordinate and manage special project assignments such as deep cleaning and mattress flip. Conducting daily pre-shift meetings with staff is also a part of our duty. We ensure that everyone is following all security protocols and procedures. Working as Housekeeping Managers, we are responsible for assisting in the preparation of housekeeping reports. We handle telephone calls and emails as needed. Finally, we perform daily inspections of rooms and public spaces with appropriate departments.
