What does a Store Associate do?

As Store Associates, we have the responsibility of engaging with customers in order to identify their needs, give relevant answers to the questions asked about products and services, and provide the necessary solutions to any problems. We aim to encourage and build excellent customer service whilst working towards the attainment of the organization's goals and objectives. We ensure that with our vast knowledge of all products in the store, the relevant information is given to the customers to make the right decisions.

Core tasks:

  • welcome customers and attend to their needs
  • process all purchases made through Point Of Sale (POS) machine
  • work with other workers to help in excellent service delivery
  • achieve department sales goals
